Trevor is a powerful storyteller, a multi-talented musician, and a teacher with lived experience in the realm of mental illness + through these efforts has helped raise over $80,000 for mental health initiatives in British Columbia. Trevor was recently awarded the 2017 City of Vancouver Award of Excellence for Inclusive City and has completed a Master's of Education with a focus on Hip-Hop Based Education. Trevor is committed to finding brighter pathways for all who are impacted by mental health.  He and his crew have presented and performed at High Schools, Conferences, Youth Summits and the Youth Detention Centre in Greater Vancouver and have quickly gained a reputation for effectively using Hip-Hop culture to connect with Youth and discuss Mental Health and promote the benefits of a healthy lifestyle.  The presentation carries an optimistic theme while discussing the realities of Mental Illness.

The presentation keeps the audience engaged and leaves youth feeling empowered and inspired.  At all times the presenters remain cognisant of potential triggers for the audience and tackle difficult issues with a smile.  Trevor is also in his 12-year teaching with Vancouver School Board. He has spent 10-years as a high school teacher and is now enjoying working with primary students as a Resource teacher.
